Job summary

Inspire ATA is seeking Adult Care Workers to provide person-centred care across residential, domiciliary and other settings. You will support individuals with personal care, mobility and daily activities, while promoting independence and wellbeing.

Role involves safeguarding, accurate record-keeping, and collaboration with families and health professionals. Training and career development are provided through blended programmes with host clients.

Responsibilities

• Providing person-centred care based on individual needs and preferences.
• Supporting individuals with personal care, mobility and daily activities.
• Promoting independence, dignity, choice and wellbeing.
• Preparing meals and supporting healthy lifestyles.
• Monitoring and reporting changes in physical and mental health.
• Supporting individuals to maintain social, family and community connections.
• Following safeguarding, health and safety and infection control procedures.
• Supporting risk assessments and positive risk-taking.
• Maintaining accurate and secure records.
• Communicating effectively with individuals, families and other professionals.
• Supporting the safe administration of medicines within the limits of the role.
• Using digital technology and care systems effectively.
• Working as part of a wider care and support team.
• Continuing to develop professional knowledge, skills and resilience.
