Job summary

Standguide is recruiting an Employment Specialist to assist people with mental health support needs in Mansfield. You will use the IPS approach, focusing on individual strengths, goals and preferences to place clients into meaningful, sustainable employment.

No IPS prior experience required as full training is provided; key is the ability to build trust with clients and employers and to work proactively within the IPS framework.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience supporting people with mental health or health-related barriers to employment.
• Ability to build respectful, trusting relationships and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of clients with mental health support needs.
• Deliver IPS-based support and work towards Fidelity Scale standards.
• Develop personalised action plans and assist with job searches, CVs, and applications.
• Build relationships with employers and help with reasonable adjustments.
• Maintain records and provide progress evidence.
