Employment Solicitor (NQ-2 PQE)
Location:Hybrid – Monmouth / Bristol
Salary:£38,000+ (DOE) + Bonus
Working Arrangement:Full-Time (35 hrs/week) | Part-Time Considered | 2 Days in Office
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Employment Solicitor (NQ-2 PQE) to join a dynamic and growing boutique practice specialising in employment law. You’ll work closely with the Head of Employment, advising both employee and employer clients across a range of contentious and non-contentious matters.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Advising on settlement agreements, grievance and disciplinary matters, redundancies, discrimination, whistleblowing, and contractual disputes.
Representing clients in Employment Tribunal claims and appeals to the EAT.
Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies, and restrictive covenants.
Supporting business clients on TUPE, restructures, service agreements, and employment aspects of corporate transactions.
Managing client matters from initial consultation to billing using LEAP case management system.
Liaising professionally with clients, barristers, and insurers.
Contributing to business development and networking activities.
Ensuring compliance with SRA standards, file management, and CPD requirements.
About You:
Qualified Solicitor with a valid SRA practising certificate, CILEx Lawyer, or experienced Fee Earner.
NQ-2 years PQE preferred (but all levels considered).
Previous experience in employment law is essential; corporate law experience is welcomed.
Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
Commercially aware, proactive, and committed to client care and quality service.
Experience using LEAP case management system is desirable.
