Job summary

Ison Harrison Solicitors, a Yorkshire law firm, is seeking an Employment Solicitor to support its Employment Department, handling both contentious and non-contentious matters for a diverse client base.

The role is full-time and permanent with a hybrid pattern: two/three days in the office and two/three days from home, following successful probation. Excellent client care and growth contribution are essential.

Qualifications

• Newly Qualified to 5 Years PQE in Employment law.

Responsibilities

• Run a caseload of predominantly claimant employment tribunal matters.
• Take instructions from clients and advise accordingly, through to archiving.
• Instruct counsel or other experts where appropriate.
• Represent clients before the Employment Tribunal (Preliminary Hearings).
• Draft pleadings in Employment Tribunal cases.
• Advise on employment contracts and service agreements.
• Provide advice on the terms and effect of settlement agreements.
• Maintain and develop legal knowledge and skills.
