Job summary

Ison Harrison Solicitors is seeking an Employment Solicitor to join our Employment Department and manage a caseload of claimant matters. The role involves taking client instructions, drafting pleadings, and advising on contracts and settlements within a collaborative team.

The ideal candidate is newly qualified to 5 years PQE with strong advocacy skills, both written and oral, and the ability to work under pressure while delivering high-quality client care.

Qualifications

• Newly Qualified to 5 Years PQE in Employment law.
• Experience in claimant employment tribunal matters.
• Drafting pleadings for Employment Tribunal cases.
• Advising on employment contracts and settlement agreements.
• Maintaining up-to-date legal knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities

• Run a caseload of claimant employment tribunal matters.
• Take instructions from clients and advise accordingly.
• Instruct counsel or other experts when needed.
• Represent clients before the Employment Tribunal (Preliminary Hearings).
• Draft pleadings and prepare case papers for hearings.
• Advise on contracts, service agreements and settlement terms.
• Maintain high standards of client care and case progression.
• Work as part of a collaborative employment team.
