Job summary

Chadwick Nott seeks an Employment Solicitor to join a respected South West law firm in Bath. You will provide practical, commercially focused employment advice to a varied client base and support senior colleagues in delivering joined-up solutions.

You will work within a collaborative team of solicitors and HR professionals, handling both contentious and non-contentious matters and contributing to client development and the firm’s growth. Hybrid/flexible working is available.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with employment law experience.
• Experience across both contentious and non-contentious matters.
• Proven ability to build strong client relationships.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage own workload and take ownership of matters.
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary team.
• Interest in business development and expanding professional network.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day employment law advice to clients.
• Advise on workplace disputes and contentious matters.
• Assist with restructures and organisational change.
• Handle TUPE transfers and executive appointments/exits.
• Address business protection and restrictive covenants issues.
• Tackle HR and people-related challenges.
• Deliver strategic employment and risk management advice.
• Collaborate with HR Consultants and other lawyers on joined-up client solutions.
