Job summary

Chadwick Nott in Bath is seeking an Associate Employment Solicitor to join its Employment Team. You will manage your own caseload on a broad employment matters and provide high-quality advice to clients.

The role offers hybrid working arrangements, a competitive salary of £55,000 to £70,000 dependent on experience, and opportunities for career development within a respected national practice. You will work closely with senior colleagues, draft policies, handle TUPE matters, and contribute to BD

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with experience running own caseload.
• Strong commitment to career development and learning.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication and workload management.
• Experience supervising junior colleagues.
• Strong attention to detail and IT literacy, including Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload across a broad range of employment matters.
• Draft and review policies, handbooks and contracts.
• Advise on disciplinary and grievance procedures and TUPE.
• Prepare bespoke contracts, secondment and consultancy agreements.
• Prepare cases for Tribunal hearings and conduct advocacy when needed.
• Engage with clients at their premises or offices and support HR Consultants.
• Contribute to business development and client contact initiatives.
• Maintain CPD and develop specialist knowledge.
