Flint Bishop LLP in Derby is seeking ambitious Employment Solicitors at all levels to join our growing Employment team. You will advise SMEs to national organisations, manage your own caseload, and contribute to the team’s strategic growth. Depending on level, there will be opportunities to mentor and lead on complex matters.

Senior Associate and Partner candidates will have opportunities to mentor, lead client relationships, and drive business development as part of our ongoing expansion.

Qualifications

• Experience advising on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
• Strong understanding of Employment Tribunal procedures and litigation.
• Excellent ability to provide commercially focused advice to a varied client base.
• Outstanding client care and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day HR and employment law advisory work.
• Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies and procedures.
• Managing disciplinary, grievance and capability issues.
• Advising on redundancies, restructures and TUPE matters.
• Employment Tribunal claims and litigation support.
• Settlement agreements and termination negotiations.
• Employment aspects of corporate transactions and business reorganisations.
• Business development and client relationship management.
• Mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to team growth.
