Job summary

Flint Bishop in Sheffield seeks a Senior Employment partner to manage a significant personal caseload and lead on team development and business growth. Reporting to the Head of Employment (North), you will mentor colleagues, drive performance and contribute to strategy while handling complex fee‑earning matters.

The role requires extensive experience in employment law for education and commercial clients, tribunal proceedings, and a strong client‑facing approach.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
• Strong knowledge of tribunal procedures and protocols.
• Experience dealing with high‑profile clients in employment law.
• Exceptional client care and relationship management skills.
• Proactive management and delegation of matters.
• Networking and client development abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied personal caseload of complex employment matters.
• Provide employment law advice to education and commercial clients.
• Draft reports and settlement documents; support HR processes.
• Lead on firm-wide business development and client relations.
• Supervise junior fee-earners and sign off work.
• Assist Head of Employment with team strategy and performance.
• Provide training and technical support to the team.
