Job summary

Chadwick Nott is seeking an Employment Solicitor/Associate to join its Birmingham office. The role targets candidates with up to 5 PQE in employment law, offering exposure to commercial and public sector clients and a varied caseload for FTSE-listed businesses, housing associations, charities, universities and public bodies.

You will advise on strategic matters, draft contracts and policies, manage tribunal claims, and support complex transactional work while developing business and client

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with up to 5 PQE in employment law

Employment Solicitor / Associate – Birmingham

This is a new opportunity for an employment solicitor with 1-5 years’ PQE to join an international firm.

The role

You will be based in the Birmingham office and act for a varied client base from FTSE-listed businesses and housing associations to charities, universities and public bodies.

Responsibilities

Dealing with a varied caseload, you will be involved in:

• Advising high-profile clients on a range of strategic employment matters
• Drafting employment contracts, policies, and disciplinary and grievance procedures
• Managing employment tribunal claims from initial instruction to resolution
• Supporting complex transactional employment matters
• Handling data subject access requests
• Contributing to the team’s profile through thought leadership articles, seminars and client events
• Developing deep sector knowledge and maintaining cutting-edge awareness of legal developments
• Building long-term client relationships

About you

• A qualified solicitor with up to 5 PQE in employment law, ideally with some exposure to commercial and/or public sector clients
• Outstanding academic background
