Employment Solicitor – Locum, 8+ Years' PQE, London / Remote, competitive hourly rate. Immediate start required – 3-month locum opportunity offering predominantly remote working, flexible hours and the opportunity to handle a high quality contentious caseload. Job Ref: 5005

• Immediate start required for an initial 3 month locum assignment, with remote working and the option to work from a central London office when required.
• The successful Employment Solicitor will join a growing team, working closely with a leading Employment Partner and advising a diverse client base including senior executives and commercial clients across transport, marketing, technology and other sectors.
• You will manage a varied caseload of contentious Employment matters, with a particular focus on discrimination and equality disputes, and will be expected to hit the ground running with minimal supervision.
• Handling Employment Tribunal claims from initial instruction through to conclusion, including drafting claims and responses, preparing witness statements, managing disclosure and providing direct client advice.
• You will attend client meetings where required, develop trusted client relationships and provide clear, commercially focused advice on complex Employment matters.
• Applications are welcomed from experienced Employment Solicitors with 8+ Years' PQE gained within a reputable regional or London firm, with a strong background in contentious Employment Law and the ability to manage a caseload independently.
• The role requires someone who is immediately available or able to commence at short notice, with the confidence and experience to step into an existing caseload and provide immediate support to the team.
• Strong experience in Employment Tribunal litigation, particularly discrimination and equality claims, is essential. Advocacy experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
• Competitive salary with flexible working across 3–4 days per week. Remote working with the option to attend a central London office occasionally.
