Job summary

Sellick Partnership is seeking an Employment Lawyer to join a reputable organisation in the North West on a locum basis while they undertake permanent recruitment. The position is based in Bolton with hybrid working and a 6 month rolling contract.

You will conduct claims and litigation, provide advice on employment issues affecting teachers in the region, and may advocate in tribunals and courts. Some attendance in Bolton is preferred; full-time is stated, with part-time consideration.

Sellick Partnership are proud to be recruiting for an Employment Lawyer to join a reputable organisation in the North West on a locum basis while they undertake permanent recruitment.

Responsibilities of the Employment Lawyer include:

• To be responsible for the conduct of claims and litigation
• To undertake the representation, including advocacy when appropriate in the tribunals and courts, internal hearings and other procedures when required
• To provide advice and support to colleagues on legal issues affecting teachers in the region
• To contribute to the training of staff

The successful candidate will ideally be able to undertake this role on a full-time basis, however candidates seeking a part-time working pattern will be considered. Ideally some attendance in Bolton.
