Overview of Role
The firm operates with a collegiate one-firm policy, with lawyers in different offices often collaborating on client matters. There are 18 employment lawyers in London and over 30 across all offices.
The successful candidate will handle a balanced workload of employee and employer work, including advice on grievance and disciplinary matters, performance management, unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing issues, litigation assistance, and settlement agreements. Employer clients include well-known brands in tech, retail, pharma, and financial services. Work includes day-to-day advice, contracts, policies, strategic issues, reorganizations, and business transfers. The firm fosters responsibility and autonomy, with regular performance and career discussions. Lawyers are expected to manage their workload independently, taking a hands-on approach.
