Job summary

National Law Firm in Birmingham is seeking an Employment Solicitor with 1–3+ PQE to join the Employment, Pensions & Immigration team. You will work with a distinguished client base on a mix of contentious and non-contentious matters.

You will handle advising employers, defending Tribunal claims, and collaborate with Partners on large-scale projects. The role offers hybrid working, strong development opportunities and a path to senior progression.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years' PQE with relevant Employment law experience.
• Experience advising employers on a broad range of employment matters.
• Experience handling Employment Tribunal claims.

Responsibilities

• Advising employers on the full range of employment law issues, including disciplinary, grievance and discrimination matters.

• Working alongside leading KCs on significant and cutting-edge Employment Tribunal litigation.
• Advising on change and restructuring projects.
• Dealing with high-profile claims involving foreign embassies.
• Working collaboratively with Partners and senior lawyers on large-scale employment projects.
• Managing your own caseload and workload with appropriate supervision and support.
• Contributing to client training, legal updates, articles, networking and business development initiatives.
