Job summary

G2 Legal Limited seeks an Employment Partner in Glasgow to lead strategic advice for a diverse client base across sectors. You will guide complex employment matters and steer the growth of the Scottish team with a collaborative, commercial approach.

You will work with a national group of specialists, supported by leadership and tech-enabled practice resources, to deliver high-quality advice and build lasting client relationships in a growing market.

Qualifications

• Established reputation in employment law.
• Has a client following or referral network.
• Broad experience across employment matters.

Responsibilities

• Advise employers on contentious and non-contentious matters.
• Support clients through restructures, TUPE transfers and redundancies.
• Advise on discrimination, whistleblowing, and senior employee issues.
• Act as trusted adviser to boards and leadership teams.
• Build long-term client relationships and contribute to BD.
• Mentor and develop colleagues.

This role offers the chance to play a key part in a growing Employment practice in Glasgow, advising a diverse portfolio of clients on a wide range of employment matters while helping to drive the strategic development of the team in Scotland.

The role

As an Employment Partner, you’ll work closely with clients across a range of sectors, providing strategic advice on complex employment law matters.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Advising employers on contentious and non-contentious employment matters
• Supporting clients through restructures, TUPE transfers and redundancy programmes
• Advising on discrimination, whistleblowing and senior employee issues
• Acting as a trusted adviser to boards and leadership teams
• Building long-term client relationships
• Contributing to business development and growth initiatives
• Mentoring and developing colleagues
