SaccoMann in Leeds is seeking an Employment Paralegal to join its growing Employment team. You will support a wide range of employer matters, work with experienced Employment Solicitors and manage your own files under supervision.

Qualifications

• At least 12 months of employment law experience.
• Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of working with employers.
• A strong academic background.
• Initiative, drive and ambition to build a career in employment law.

Responsibilities

• Support Employment Solicitors on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious matters.
• Advise employer clients on day-to-day HR and employment law issues.
• Draft contracts of employment, staff handbooks, policies and procedures.
• Assist with disciplinary, grievance, capability and redundancy processes.
• Prepare settlement agreements and related documentation.
• Support Tribunal claims and litigation where required.
• Conduct legal research and prepare draft advice.
• Manage your own caseload under supervision.
• Build relationships with clients and deliver practical, commercial solutions.
