Chase Portland Limited, a leading UK commercial law firm, seeks an Employment Associate in London with 3–5 years’ PQE to join its growing Employment Law Team. You will handle a varied caseload for employers and senior executives, including contentious and non-contentious matters.

The role offers a flexible hybrid pattern (three days in the office, two at home) and opportunities for business development and client relationship building within a diverse sector base.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' PQE in employment law.
• Experience advising employer clients on both contentious and non-contentious matters.
• Experience advising Senior Executive clients.

The Firm

Our client is a Top 100 UK commercial Law firm looking for a 3-5 years' PQE Associate to join its growing Employment Law Team in London.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative and commercially focused practice, working with a diverse client base across a broad range of sectors. The team advises employers on the full spectrum of employment law matters, providing strategic and pragmatic support tailored to clients' business objectives.

The Role

The successful candidate will enjoy a varied caseload encompassing both contentious and non-contentious employment work, for employers and Senior Executives including:

• Employment Tribunal claims and litigation.
• Complex disciplinary, grievance and performance management matters.
• Employment contracts, policies and procedures.
• Redundancy and restructuring projects.
• Workplace investigations.
• Senior Executive exits, negotiations and settlement agreements.
• Employment aspects of corporate transactions.
• Day-to-day HR and employment law advisory work.

The team works with clients across a wide range of sectors, including professional services, technology, healthcare, education, manufacturing and other commercial industries, ensuring a diverse and stimulating workload.

The Candidate

Our client is looking for an Associate with:

• 3-5 years' PQE in employment law.
• Experience advising employer clients on both contentious and non-contentious matters.
• Experience advising Senior Executive clients.
• An interest in business development and marketing.

Our client offers flexible hybrid working of three days in the office and two days working from home (subject to business requirements).
