Job summary

Birketts LLP in Sevenoaks seeks an Employment Associate with 3–6 years PQE to deliver expert employment advice to a diverse client base. The role requires strong drafting, advisory capabilities and a proactive approach to client relationships.

You will join a busy Employment Team, operating on a hybrid model with office and home working, contributing to strategic growth and client service excellence across the South East.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years PQE in Employment Law.
• Strong drafting and advisory skills.
• Experience with TUPE, redundancy and investigations is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Advise on grievances, disciplinaries and contractual issues.
• Draft service agreements, contracts of employment, staff handbooks and settlement agreements.
• Draft and review employment policies (performance, sickness, leave).
• Provide transactional corporate support.
• Advise on wrongful and unfair dismissal, redundancy and restructuring.
• Advise on TUPE and boardroom disputes; support with employment litigation.
• Assist with client training and development.
