Our client, a true market leader in their field, is looking for an experienced Litigation Consultant specializing in employment law to join their field-based team. The successful candidate, with advocacy experience, will manage cases within their locality, with some travel across the UK.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work from home and represent clients in employment tribunal cases. It is ideal for a qualified Advocate seeking an improved work-life balance or an HR professional who has represented company interests in Tribunal settings.

We seek confident, articulate, and legally qualified candidates with direct employment law experience. The successful candidate will be part of the UK Legal Team, working closely with the employment law advisory service, Litigation Executive teams, and Senior Leadership Team. We emphasize high standards of care and service, requiring good communication skills and professionalism.

Responsibilities

1. Review claims brought against clients in the Employment Tribunal, in conjunction with the Litigation Executive, including approving pleadings, disclosures, and document bundles.
2. Represent clients in Tribunals, hearings, and contested cases.
3. Prepare cases, write reports, and manage trials.
4. Assess client cases, identify risks, and consider cost implications.
5. Advocate for clients and present relevant legal arguments.

Person Specification

• Advocacy experience, preferably within employment law.
• Experience in employment tribunal representation.
• Professional qualification preferred but not essential.
• Valid driving license and ability to work independently.
• Ability to work under pressure.
