Job summary

Warwickshire County Council is seeking a Journey Guide to deliver the DWP-funded Connect to Work programme across the county, using IPS or SEQF models. The role supports adults and young people with health conditions or disabilities to secure and maintain employment, and to advocate for reasonable workplace adjustments.

You will co-create vocational profiles into detailed action plans, provide personalised support, collaborate with partners, and travel to neighbouring authorities as needed.

Qualifications

• Fluent spoken English, able to give accurate advice to the public.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the DWP-funded Connect to Work programme across Warwickshire using the IPS or SEQF supported employment model.
• Support adults and young people with health conditions, disabilities or health support needs to find and sustain employment.
• Advocate for and implement reasonable adjustments in the workplace.
• Co-create vocational profiles and turn them into clear, detailed action plans.
• Provide personalised support tailored to each person's needs.
• Work with colleagues, funders and delivery partners to shape and monitor activity.
• Travel across the county and visit neighbouring authorities.
