Stoke-on-Trent City Council is seeking a dedicated Connect to Work adviser within the JET service to help residents find and sustain employment. You will deliver personalised, supportive guidance and assist with employment barriers, profiling skills, and SMART action plans to progress clients toward work.

The role involves some employer engagement, coordinating with local employers and providing ongoing support for up to six months after employment starts.

Qualificações

• Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of employer legislation and rights.
• Understanding of labour market exclusion challenges.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Provide person-centred, one-to-one support to residents.
• Assist with job search and regular employer contact to uncover opportunities.
• Support employers with adjustments and ongoing engagement for job retention.
