Job summary

Homeless Link is seeking a committed professional in Leeds to provide holistic employment and engagement support. You will help people access opportunities in employment, education, training and volunteering, while offering consultancy to colleagues on how best to deliver this work.

The role focuses on developing innovative approaches and working with partner agencies to maximise opportunities city-wide. This fixed-term contract runs for at least 12 months with potential extension.

Qualifications

Experience providing employment and engagement guidance to diverse groups.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills across teams.

This role is to be offered as fixed term contract for a minimum of 12 months with potential to be extended.

Purpose of the role

To provide holistic advice and support to people accessing Engage Leeds services to maximise their opportunities in respect of employment, education, training and other engagement opportunities, such as volunteering and work experience placements.
To provide consultancy support to colleagues in respect of employment and engagement work.
To develop innovative approaches to the delivery of Employment and Engagement work for the benefit of the people we support.
To work effectively with other agencies to maximise Employment and Engagement opportunities across the city.
