Do you have a passion for helping people break the cycle of long-term unemployment?

Are you experienced in employability support and confident in delivering better-off calculations?

A leading charity, in partnership with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), is dedicated to supporting job seekers in Hammersmith & Fulham. Their mission is to help individuals re-enter the workforce and secure lasting employment.

Responsibilities

As an Employment Advisor, you'll manage a caseload of 40 individuals who have been unemployed long-term. You will offer tailored, one-to-one support to help each person overcome their barriers to employment. Your responsibilities include:

1. Conducting better-off calculations to demonstrate the financial benefits of employment.
2. Supporting clients with CV writing and interview preparation.
3. Guiding job searches and helping identify suitable opportunities.
4. Building confidence and motivation through coaching and encouragement.

You must have previous experience in a similar role such as an Employment Advisor, Job Coach, Careers Advisor, Employment Consultant, or Employer Engagement Consultant.

This is a full-time, 12-month contract with a strong potential for extension. The charity is committed to retaining great people whenever possible.
