A new vacancy has arisen with one of the leading Employment Law Teams based in Manchester. The role is suitable for an associate with 3-5 years PQE.
You will be part of a cohesive, well-structured team, receiving guidance and mentoring from the head of department. You will collaborate with talented peers and colleagues and support and develop junior lawyers and trainees.
The team has expertise in contentious and non-contentious employment law, handling a diverse caseload that includes:
Clients are from sectors such as Banking, Life Sciences, Retail, Professional Services, Manufacturing, Construction, and Engineering. The team mainly works for corporate and commercial clients, including FTSE 100 companies, and has a strong reputation for representing senior executives in termination and boardroom disputes.
You will have direct client contact and manage your own matters, working within a partner-led team on complex issues. You will also participate in multidisciplinary teams and networking activities.
The firm supports your technical development and relationship-building skills, encouraging involvement in business development and client engagement.
