Job summary

This London firm is seeking an Employment Solicitor to join a broad practice advising businesses and senior individuals across contentious, advisory and transactional employment matters.

You will handle Employment Tribunal and High Court matters, senior exits, covenants, investigations, reorganisations and cross-border projects, with opportunities to work on corporate transactions and develop client relationships.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with strong experience across Employment law, circa 4-6 PQE.
• Broad experience across contentious, non-contentious and advisory matters.
• Able to advise senior stakeholders clearly and commercially.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and client management skills.
• Collaborative approach and comfortable working with other practice areas.
• Interested in contributing to business development and profile-raising initiatives.
• Willing to support and mentor less experienced lawyers within the team.

Responsibilities

• Advise on a broad mix of contentious, non-contentious and advisory employment matters.
• Handle Employment Tribunal and High Court disputes, including discrimination and whistleblowing matters.
• Manage your own matters and develop client relationships with partner support.
• Collaborate with the Corporate team on employment aspects of M&A transactions.
• Contribute to business development and profile-raising efforts and mentor junior lawyers.
