You do not need previous employability experience or an existing employer network. You might already work in sales or recruitment, or you could be earlier in your career and looking for the opportunity to prove what you can do.
You will learn how to approach employers, speak with decision‑makers, understand recruitment needs, build a pipeline and turn relationships into vacancies and sustainable jobs for Get Set UK participants. You will research and approach employers, start conversations with decision‑makers and understand what they need when recruiting. You will learn how to develop those conversations into vacancies and build relationships employers want to continue.
This isn't just account management. You will need to create new relationships. That means picking up the phone, approaching people who do not know you, following up when they do not reply and hearing "no" without losing momentum.
You will also work with colleagues and participants to make sensible matches between vacancies and the people we support.
You will manage opportunities through a pipeline, maintain accurate CRM records and follow vacancies through to job starts and sustained employment.
