Recruited UK is seeking an Employer Engagement & Recruitment Consultant to support adults 18+ in Manchester, creating genuine job opportunities by developing relationships with employers and training providers.

You will engage with local employers, understand their needs, and source suitable roles for customers while coordinating with training partners to upskill candidates. A proactive, relationship-driven approach is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business with local and regional employers via phone, digital and in-person activities.

• Work with customers and operations to understand skills and employment goals.
• Pre-screen and match customers to vacancies before submitting to employers.
• Arrange interviews and manage recruitment processes through to feedback and outcomes.
• Collaborate with training providers to identify pre-employment training and upskilling opportunities.
• Manage employer accounts and develop long-term relationships to generate vacancies.
• Attend employer, networking and stakeholder events to create new opportunities.

Are you an experienced Recruitment Consultant, Employer Engagement Consultant, Business Development Executive or Account Manager looking for a role where you can make a real difference?

We are recruiting for an Employer Engagement & Recruitment Consultant to work with adults aged 18+ who are looking to secure employment, developing relationships with employers and training providers to create genuine job opportunities for them.

Location: Manchester

Salary: £28,000-£32,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities

• Developing new business with local and regional employers through telephone, digital and face-to-face activity.
• Building strong relationships with employers, training providers, Jobcentre Plus and other stakeholders.
• Understanding employers' recruitment needs and sourcing suitable job opportunities for customers.
• Working closely with customers and operational teams to understand skills, experience and employment goals.
• Pre-screening and matching customers to suitable vacancies before submitting them to employers.
• Arranging interviews and managing the recruitment process through to feedback and outcome.
• Working with training providers to identify pre-employment training and upskilling opportunities based on employer requirements.
• Managing employer accounts and developing long-term relationships to generate repeat vacancies.
• Attending employer, networking and stakeholder events to generate new opportunities.

About You

We are looking for someone with experience in recruitment, sales, business development, account management or employer engagement. You will be confident communicating with employers, proactive in generating new opportunities and able to build strong, long-term relationships. You'll also be organised, commercially focused and motivated by helping people move into sustainable employment.
