Job summary

Aspire Recruitment is seeking a Recruitment Consultant to support a government-funded programme across South Yorkshire. You will develop employer partnerships, secure vacancies and match candidates to opportunities to help local young people gain employment.

You will build relationships with employers and stakeholders, manage the end-to-end recruitment process and work toward targets in a busy environment. A driving licence and DBS check are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development, sales, account management, recruitment or employer engagement.
• Track record of achieving targets in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent networking and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to influence decision-makers and spot new opportunities.
• Proficient communication skills and professional approach.
• Experience with vacancy generation, recruitment or employment services is a plus.
• Strong understanding of the local labour market and workforce development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver employer engagement and business development to generate vacancies and referrals.
• Build and maintain relationships with employers, stakeholders and partner organisations.
• Promote services through networking events and meetings.
• Take a consultative approach to understand recruitment requirements.
• Identify and secure suitable vacancies through proactive activity.
• Match candidates to opportunities and support recruitment from vacancy to placement.
• Coordinate interviews and maintain effective communication between employers, candidates and advisers.
• Gather employer feedback to support progression and outcomes.
• Maintain records and ensure data protection and procedures.
• Work towards ambitious targets and business objectives.
