Job summary

Tameside College in Ashton-under-Lyne is inviting applications for an Employability and Partnership Coordinator to develop and secure a broad range of work-related activities that boost learners’ employability. You will build partnerships with local employers and curriculum teams to deliver a high-quality employability service.

Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects while nurturing stakeholder relationships are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a level 3 qualification in a relevant subject.
• GCSE English and Maths minimum grade C or equivalent.
• IT qualification or equivalent experience.
• Should be a strong team player with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and secure a wide range of work related activities to support learners and enhance employability skills.
• Work in partnership with a range of employers and with curriculum departments to deliver an outstanding professional employability service.
• Source and develop links between FE sector and business; manage multiple projects.
