Job summary

The Manchester College's Openshaw Campus in Manchester is seeking a Recruitment and Outreach Co-ordinator to join the Student Experience and Support Department on a permanent, full-time basis. You will engage with schools, communities and prospective students, showcasing courses, support and career pathways to unlock potential.

The role requires a Level 3 Advice & Guidance qualification (or willingness to work towards), Level 2 Maths and English, strong customer service, excellent communication

Qualifications

• Level 3 Advice & Guidance qualification or willingness to work towards.
• Level 2 Maths and English.
• Strong customer service background.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-college teams and establish positive relationships.
• Strong self-management skills to manage calendars, delegated tasks and workload.
• Aptitude for data handling and analysis skills.
• Strong IT skills.
• Access to a vehicle and a valid driving licence.
• Flexible and prepared to work mornings, evenings and occasional weekends for outreach and recruitment events.
• Willing to travel to outreach and recruitment events across Greater Manchester and occasionally outside of Greater Manchester.
