Job summary

The Fedcap Group in the UK is seeking a Job Broker - Employer Engagement to connect young people with local employers across North Staffordshire. You will build strong relationships with businesses, generate vacancies, and support participants through the recruitment journey from onboarding to sustained employment.

This full-time, permanent role is home-based with regular travel. Salary £28,000–£31,000, with a focus on helping young people move into work and improve life chances.

Qualifications

• Ability to build trusted relationships with employers.
• Experience in recruitment or employer engagement.
• Excellent communication and networking skills.
• Ability to generate vacancies and opportunities.
• Willingness to travel and work across North Staffordshire.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with local employers across a range of sectors.
• Generate quality vacancies, work placements, apprenticeships and other opportunities.
• Understand employer recruitment needs, culture and progression opportunities.
• Develop a pipeline of vacancies and match participants to opportunities.
• Use creative approaches to create opportunities beyond existing openings.
• Support participants through recruitment, from roles to interviews and starts.
• Arrange onboarding and workplace support with employers and ensure reasonable adjustments where needed.
• Conduct vocational profiling to understand skills, aspirations and barriers.
• Provide job-search support, CVs, applications, and interview preparation.
• Connect participants with specialist services and community organisations when needed.
• Provide in-work support to help participants settle and sustain employment.
