Job summary

Thames Water is recruiting a Volunteering and Charity Partnerships Coordinator in Reading to support our Community Investment Team and expand employee volunteering opportunities. This role helps connect staff with community partners, coordinates charitable activities and supports fundraising across the business.

Key responsibilities include sourcing and delivering volunteering events, engaging colleagues as champions, supporting the Speaker Programme and providing committee support.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Experience of managing own workload and meeting deadlines.
• Experience of working with a wide range of stakeholders, including environmental and charity sectors.
• Full UK Driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to source, plan, manage and deliver volunteering activities for teams and promote activities with partners.
• Engage colleagues as community, volunteering and charity champions.
• Support the day-to-day operation of the Community Speaker Programme.
• Provide secretariat support to the Charity Partnerships Committee.
