Job summary

Zurich Cover-More is seeking an Employee Relations Specialist on a 6-month contract in Brighton. You will partner with leaders and People teams to deliver ER support across organisational change, providing trusted guidance on employment matters and ensuring compliant, pragmatic outcomes.

You will work with internal and external legal partners, maintain strong documentation, and help drive continuous improvement in ER practices while balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, international

Qualifications

• Significant Employee Relations experience in a large or matrix organisation.
• Knowledge of UK employment law and consultation requirements.
• Ability to work with employment lawyers and manage legally sensitive cases.
• Excellent written communication and documentation skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Experience with collective consultation exercises is advantageous.
• Experience in an international organisation is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders and People teams to deliver ER support across change initiatives.
• Provide trusted advice on ER matters to ensure fair, compliant outcomes.
• Support planning and delivery of workforce change while maintaining employee experience.
• Navigate complex people matters with stakeholders and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with external legal advisers and internal teams on decisions.
• Develop and maintain documentation, communications and reporting.
• Build relationships with leaders and employee representatives as a trusted advisor.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of ER practices and governance.
