Job summary

Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking experienced Investigation Officers to conduct employee relations investigations on an ad hoc basis. You will lead investigations, gathering and analysing sensitive information, and produce comprehensive reports for hearings.

The role requires professional, independent workers with strong analytical and interpersonal skills, able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. NHS pension and other staff benefits may apply.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in conducting workplace investigations.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Commissioning Manager/HR to update progress and flag developments.
• Lead/undertake formal meetings with employees in line with policies (misconduct, grievance, capability).
• Liaise with all relevant parties to gather evidence as per the Terms of Reference.
• Prepare and submit the outcome report and supporting documentation at the conclusion of the investigation.
• Attend formal hearings to present findings in line with NNUH processes.
