Job summary

Flutter UK & Ireland is seeking an Employee Relations Governance Manager to oversee ER governance, document controls, and policy management. The role involves reporting, data accuracy, and collaboration with Legal, Compliance and HR teams. It may include occasional ER casework and policy improvements.

The role is a 12‑month fixed-term contract, offering flexible working arrangements and benefits typical for Flutter’s UK & Ireland division.

Qualifications

  • CIPD or an equivalent country-specific HR qualification is required.
  • Experience in Employee Relations governance and policy administration is essential.
  • Excellent communication, analytical and stakeholder management skills.

  • Provide operational oversight and administration across the ER function, including case tracking and reporting.
  • Manage governance of ER documents, policies and version control.
  • Coordinate policy reviews with Legal, Compliance and HR stakeholders.
  • Support ER projects and occasional casework (investigations, disciplinary, grievance, absence).
  • Communicate updates and ensure compliant, efficient people practices across the organisation.

Job description

Employee Relations Governance Manager

The Employee Relations Goverance Manager plays a key role within the wider Employee Relations function, supporting the effective operational delivery, governance and administration of ER activity across the business. Reporting into the Employee Relations Lead, the role is responsible for ensuring robust oversight of ER processes, documentation governance, policy management, reporting and administration activity, whilst also supporting wider ER projects and occasional casework activity where required.

The role acts as a key link between ER, Legal, HR Compliance, HR Core Services and the wider People Partnering teams to ensure consistent, compliant and efficient people practices are maintained across the organisation.

This role is a 12 month FTC

What you will do:
  • Provide operational oversight and administration support across the ER function, including case tracking, Occupational Health referrals, and HR Acuity/EQS management, data accuracy and reporting.
  • Produce regular ER reporting and analytics to support business insight, risk identification and leadership reporting.
  • Maintain governance, version control and document controls for ER and HR policies, acting as SME for ER documentation and tooling within Core HR Ops.
  • Coordinate policy review cycles with Legal, Compliance and HR stakeholders, ensuring updates are accurately communicated and documented.
  • Identify and implement improvements to ER processes, systems and governance frameworks, including admin/notetaking support for hearings and appeals.
  • Provide occasional support with ER casework (investigations, disciplinary, grievance, absence) and guidance to People Leaders and People Partners.

  • Resilient and adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced, evolving environment; CIPD or equivalent country-specific HR qualification.
