Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Employee Relations Manager to lead ER/LR initiatives across the UK & Ireland. The role requires extensive employee relations experience, strong leadership, and excellent communication across diverse locations and cultures.

Travel up to 30% is expected, with a flexible base location in the UK. In this position you will own regional labour relations, develop frameworks for scaling business lines, and support senior leaders with depth expertise on proactive and reactive

Qualifications

• Experience in employee relations, labor relations, or labor/employment law.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree, law degree, or other specialized training in employee relations.
• Experience and solid understanding of UK employment and labor laws.
• Direct experience managing ERB relationships or employee forums in UK consultation environments.
• Negotiation experience.

Responsibilities

• Regional ownership across a geographical region, managing multiple stakeholder relationships across multiple operational locations.
• Develop labour relations frameworks in new scaling business lines.
• Support senior leaders by providing labour relations depth expertise in both proactive and reactive project work.
• Facilitates and improves employee led groups / forums.
• Leading negotiation when neccessary.
• Identify and address employee concerns early, de-escalating and resolving workplace issues.
• Work as a project manager on proactive initiatives that improve employee relations and engagement.
• On a reactive basis, undertake work on highly sensitive employee relations issues with limited time.
