Job summary

Flogas is seeking an Employee Relations Advisor to provide expert, colleague-centred support on ER matters, coaching, case management, and proactive interventions to reduce risk and improve people practices. The role involves delivering monthly ER sessions and ensuring policy adherence and accurate record-keeping.

The successful candidate will have CIPD qualifications (desirable), proven HR advisory experience, strong employment-law knowledge, and excellent communication skills to work

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an HR advisory or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Experience using HR systems and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Act as the trusted ER expert for employee relations matters, providing commercially focused, risk-based and colleague-centric advice.
• Deliver monthly ER Bitesize sessions to enhance manager capability across key employee relations topics.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies, governance requirements, and best practice.
• Maintain accurate case management records and ensure service activity is tracked effectively to support reporting and service performance.
• Champion the colleague-as-customer approach across all People Services activities, ensuring employees and managers receive a consistent, responsive and high-quality experience.
• Contribute to key People Plan priorities and support the delivery of strategic initiatives.
