Job summary

QinetiQ is seeking an Employee Communications role within the Marketing & Communications team to support the UKI Sector Communications strategy, aligning with group plans and enhancing employee engagement across channels.

The role requires collaboration with the Employee Communications team, managing content, campaigns, and events to reflect the company vision and values, while driving effective internal/external messaging and measurement of impact.

Qualifications

• Degree level educated or equivalent working experience.
• 2+ years’ experience in communications, particularly employee communications.
• Experience working in a complex stakeholder environment with relationship management skills.
• Experience of managing external agencies, contractors, designers and content producers.
• Experience editing and updating intranet/web content and analysing web analytics.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of the Employee Communications strategy for the UKI Sector.
• Manage Sector employee communications channels, messaging and content for key information and announcements.
• Draft and edit communications copy and materials for blogs, social media, website and intranet.
• Support day-to-day tactical delivery of employee communications campaigns and activities.
• Plan, manage and deliver key internal Sector events, both virtually and in-person.
• Ensure content aligns to the QinetiQ narrative, brand, and values.
• Measure impact and analytics of communications activities to inform future plans.
