KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills and Employability sectors. We are seeking an Employability Tutor / Trainer to deliver workshops at centre based locations across the UK. Salary is £25,000–£27,000 depending on skills and experience, with excellent holiday entitlement, equipment, and pension benefits.

This permanent role offers a 4-day working week (Monday – Thursday). You will deliver employability sessions to groups of adult learners, support CV writing, job search

Qualifications

• Recognised assessor award or teaching qualification at Level 3 or above.
• Experience delivering engaging training/workshops in employability skills.
• Organisational skills to manage a cohort of learners.
• Willingness to undertake vetting/ security clearances for the role.
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Employability workshops to groups of circa 10 adult learners – support CV writing, job search, interview techniques, confidence building, etc.
• Deliver engaging training sessions and provide ongoing IAG to learners.
• Be flexible with delivery methods, provide differentiation and adapt quickly to learners' needs.
• Assist learners in identifying skills required to progress towards career aspirations.
• Demonstrate energy and passion to motivate/train learners to realise their full potential.

Duties:

• Deliver Employability workshops to groups of circa 10 adult learners – as part of the delivery, you will be required to support learners with CV writing, job search, interview techniques, confidence building etc.
• Deliver engaging training sessions and provide ongoing IAG to learners.
• The successful candidate will be flexible with their delivery methods, providing differentiation and be able to adapt quickly to learners needs.
• Assist learners in identifying the skills required to progress towards their career aspirations.
• The successful candidate must be engaging and able to demonstrate energy and passion to motivate / train learner to realisetheir full potential

Essential Criteria:

• Hold either a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA OR Teaching qualification at Level 3 or above (PTLLS/AET).
• Must have experience of delivering engaging training / workshops, within employability skills.
• Organisational skills are a must, and you will manage a cohort / caseload of learners.
• Prepared to undertake any vetting / security clearances, as required for the role.
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle.
