Job summary

Reed Further Education is seeking a motivated Employability Skills Coach to support learners in developing the skills, confidence, and knowledge needed to progress into further education, training, or employment.

This full-time temporary role covers the North-West & Yorkshire region (Manchester, Leeds, Bradford) and offers competitive pay. You will deliver coaching to individuals and groups, help with CV writing, interview prep, and job search techniques, and monitor progress.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting individuals with employability, careers, training, or progression goals.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire learners from a variety of backgrounds.
• Good organisational and administrative skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsibilities

• Deliver employability support and coaching to learners on a one-to-one and group basis.
• Assist learners with CV writing, job applications, interview preparation, and job search techniques.
• Support learners in developing essential workplace and transferable skills.
• Monitor learner progress and maintain accurate records.
• Build positive relationships with learners, employers, and internal stakeholders.
• Encourage learner engagement, motivation, and achievement.

Employability Skills Coach

Location: North-West & Yorkshire: Manchester, Leeds, Bradford

Position: Full-Time

Contract: Temporary Ongoing

Pay Rate: £16 per hour.
