Momentum Training in Sheffield is seeking an experienced Employability Skills Tutor to join our team. You will deliver engaging employability training to adult learners, helping them develop skills, confidence and pursue sustainable employment.

The role is office-based with classroom sessions and one-to-one support throughout the training programme. The successful candidate will plan sessions, assess progress, and provide guidance on CV writing, job applications and interview techniques,

Job Description - Employability Skills Tutor

Location: Sheffield - office-based

Salary: £30,000 per annum

Hours: Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-5:00pm; Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: Full-time, permanent

The Role

Momentum Training is looking for an experienced and motivated Employability Skills Tutor to join our team in Sheffield.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging employability training to adult learners, helping them develop the skills, knowledge and confidence required to move into sustainable employment. This will include supporting learners with job searching, CV writing, interview preparation, workplace behaviours and other essential employability skills.

The role will be primarily office-based, delivering classroom sessions and providing individual support to learners throughout their training programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging employability training sessions to groups of adult learners.
• Support learners with CV writing, job applications, interview techniques and job search activities.
• Develop learners' communication, teamwork, problem-solving and workplace skills.
• Support learners to identify career goals and develop realistic employment plans.
• Monitor learner attendance, engagement, progress and achievement.
• Complete learner assessments, progress reviews and associated paperwork accurately and within required timescales.
• Identify individual learner support needs and adapt delivery accordingly.
• Support learners to overcome barriers to employment and improve their confidence and motivation.
