Job summary

Emplas Window Systems Limited is hiring a Production Operative at our Wellingborough site. You will operate power tools and machinery to manufacture windows and doors, following precise customer specifications and quality standards. Training is provided to support your development in a busy factory environment.

You will work across three shifts with overtime often available, and a weekly attendance bonus is offered. A strong focus on Health & Safety and a good level of fitness are required.

Position

Production Operative - As a result of our continuing growth at our Wellingborough manufacturing facility we are looking for new team members to join our Production team. Previous experience would be desirable but not essential as a full training program will be provided.

Requirements

What you'll be doing:

• Using power tools and machinery to make windows and doors
• Following customer specifications and ensuring quality standards are met
• Adhering to Health & Safety requirements
• Working to daily targets

You will have:

• A conscientious, reliable and enthusiastic attitude
• Ability to read & understand detailed customer requirements and ensure quality is maintained.
• A good understanding of Health and Safety
• A good level of fitness to be able to complete the physical work required

Other information

We have positions available in 3 different shifts and overtime is often available:

• Days - 6:00am - 2:00pm, Monday to Friday - £13.35 per hour (Including Shift Allowance)
• Lates - 2:00pm -10:00pm Monday to Friday - £13.98 per hour (Including Shift Allowance)
• Nights - 10:00pm - 06:00am Monday to Friday - £14.61 per hour (Including Shift Allowance)

After successful completion of your training your rate will increase to:

• Days - 6:00am - 2:00pm, Monday to Friday - £13.81 per hour (Including Shift Allowance)
• Lates - 2:00pm -10:00pm Monday to Friday - £14.48 per hour (Including Shift Allowance)
• Nights - 10:00pm - 06:00am Monday to Friday - £15.13 per hour (Including Shift Allowance)

As a performance bonus we offer £20 pounds per week attendance allowance
