Job summary

Aspire in Scotland is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to provide 1:1 care in young people’s homes and in community settings. You will deliver personal and clinical care, handle complex needs, and support individuals with autism and challenging behaviours while promoting independence.

A strong emphasis on empathy, listening, and building trusting relationships underpins the role, with full induction and ongoing training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience is preferred but we provide a full induction and ongoing training.
• What matters most is your ability to connect with people, your empathy, and your commitment to helping others.
• Emotionally intelligent and calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Supporting young persons 1:1 in their home
• Provide personal and clinical care
• Dealing with complex needs including verbal and non verbal
• Supporting young people with autism and challenging behaviour
• Assist with medication, housing needs, appointments, and daily routines
• Encourage social participation and independence
