Job summary

iwoca is seeking a Collections & Recoveries Advisor in Leeds for an early arrears role. You will talk with business customers who have fallen behind on repayments, exploring options to recover what's owed in a respectful and compliant way.

This hybrid role starts with in-office training, then weekly office visits. You will handle inbound and outbound calls, emails and messages, build relationships, document notes, and determine the best repayment solutions for each account.

Qualifications

• A patient, empathetic and professional manner, especially in difficult conversations.
• Strong communication skills on both phone and email.
• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
• The ability to deal with a variety of challenges, innovate and think on your feet.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned portfolio of accounts in early arrears with outbound and inbound calls, emails and WhatsApp messages.
• Discuss options with customers and agree next steps based on their circumstances.
• Agree on flexible arrangements and follow up when a plan is not working.
• Own decisions on your portfolio and keep clear notes for follow-ups.
