Be U Swindon Mental Health Support Team is recruiting a Trainee Education Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP) to work within a multidisciplinary team in Swindon. The role is activity-based, with university-led training days and on-the-ground practice delivering supervised, evidence-based interventions for children and young people with mild to moderate anxiety, low mood, and behavioural difficulties.

Qualifikationen

• Attend university-based taught and self-study days as part of the education provider.
• Deliver, under supervision, evidence-based interventions to children and young people with mild-to-moderate mental health difficulties.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to data collection.
• Work in partnership with families and education partners to support intervention outcomes.

Aufgaben

• Assess and deliver, under supervision, outcome-focused, evidence-based interventions to CYP with mild-to-moderate mental health difficulties.
• Support and empower children, young people and families to make informed choices about interventions.
• Attend multi-disciplinary meetings and keep records in line with service protocols.
• Provide information and support for evidence-based psychological treatments (including guided self-help).
• Escalate cases when the level of need increases and participate in supervision and development activities.
