Job summary

East London NHS Foundation Trust seeks a dedicated Children & Young People’s CBT Practitioner for the Wellbeing in Newham Schools Team (MHST). You will deliver CBT interventions in schools, assess young people, and work with families. Must be a registered EMHP and able to collaborate with schools and local services.

The role offers a dynamic, supportive environment and opportunities to shape a developing MHST in a multi-ethnic community while receiving supervision from senior colleagues.

Qualifications

• Registered EMHP with CAMHS experience preferred.
• Experience delivering CBT for children and young people.
• Ability to collaborate with families, schools and community services.

Responsibilities

• Deliver CBT-based interventions for low mood and anxiety in schools.
• Build and maintain relationships with professionals and services supporting children and young people.
• Support MHST core functions: provide evidence-based interventions and advise schools on whole-school approaches.
