G MASS, a specialist London Market MGA, offers an entry-level opportunity for a school leaver to learn underwriting for a US miscellaneous professional liability book and to support core operational processes.

You will work closely with the founder and senior underwriters, training on a modern, AI-enabled underwriting platform, applying guidelines and binder authority, and ensuring timely quotes, binding, and administration.

Formación

• No degree required; school leaver position with training.
• A-levels or equivalent with maths helpful.
• Strong aptitude for learning, insurance interest and career development.
• Data skills with Excel; formulas like lookups or pivot tables a plus.
• Clear communication with brokers and colleagues; professional demeanor.

Responsabilidades

• Underwriting: review US miscellaneous professional liability submissions and learn to underwrite them.
• Platform management: run the submission pipeline on the MGA platform and ensure data quality.
• Grow the book: build broker relationships and respond quickly to quotes to increase submissions.
• Operations support: assist with policy administration and documentation with finance/ops teams.
• Reporting: contribute to bordereaux and binder reporting and data checks.
• Process improvement: identify recurring issues and suggest automation to improve efficiency.
