Job summary

HMRC is recruiting for an Associate IT Delivery Manager within the CDIO Borders and Trade team. You will work with CDIO B&T and external partners to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery of digital products, managing stakeholder relationships and adapting delivery methodologies as needed.

You’ll define delivery roadmaps, manage risks and dependencies, and champion continuous improvement and delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience with Agile and waterfall delivery approaches.
• Understanding of Delivery Management techniques.
• Familiarity with managing multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Supporting a Delivery Manager with end-to-end delivery of IT projects or sub-projects.
• Producing and maintaining end-to-end IT delivery plans and status reports.
• Identifying and escalating IT risks, issues and dependencies.
• Overseeing commercials/costs across delivery teams and partners.
• Forecasting and tracking costs through the project lifecycle.
• Building collaborative relationships to achieve business outcomes.
• Applying Agile and Waterfall methods appropriately in Delivery Management.
• Removing blockers to successful delivery.
• Actively contributing to the Delivery Manager community.
• Collaborating with Product Managers and project managers to align scope and timeline.
