Job summary

Mitie Group plc. in Goodwood is seeking an Emergency Response Team Officer (Fire & Security) to join a dedicated client-site team. The role blends security, fire response, and first aid, offering specialist training and qualifications from day one.

You will work 12-hour shifts (days/nights/weekends), averaging 42 hours per week with overtime opportunities. The company provides funded training and real career progression within a large facilities management group.

Qualifications

• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Valid SIA front line licence (fully funded).
• Ability to pass a medical and fitness test (including suitability for breathing apparatus).
• Basic/intermediate IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide a visible and proactive security presence at a major client site.
• Respond quickly to fires, first aid incidents, and environmental emergencies.
• Maintain and inspect emergency equipment to operational standards.
• Conduct internal and external patrols, searches and incident reporting.
• Support compliance with health, safety and security policies.
