Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a Security Officer to join our Emergency Response Team on a 4 on/4 off 12-hour shift pattern. You will patrol the site, perform gatehouse duties, monitor CCTV, and support on-site safety and security operations.

Role requires SIA licence, full driving licence, and First Aid at Work. You will undergo vetting and training, with opportunities for ongoing development within Mitie.

Qualifications

• SIA licence is a mandatory requirement.
• Able to pass security and background checks with a full 5-year history.
• Basic IT literacy and reporting skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the site and perform gatehouse duties.
• Monitor CCTV and access control platform.
• Conduct security inspections and report risks to the ERT Manager.
• Provide first-aid / medical support during emergencies as part of ERT.
